It’s Hip-Hop come full circle today as DJ Doo Wop, the revered New York DJ known for his classic mixtape series like 95 Live, The Diaz Brothers and The Bounce Squad, delivers his latest unique project Underground: The New 90′s, presented by The Source and 238Beats Entertainment. Just like the title implies, the record pairs some of the 90′s most respected emcees with the finest crop of today’s underground rappers.
The likes of The Notorious B.I.G., AZ, Big Pun, Rass Kass and O.C. hold it down for the vets, while Reks, The Kid Daytona and Termanology are among those representing for the new school. The tape comes in that same nostalgic format with a side A and side B, both of which can be streamed and downloaded below.
