This was really powerful and moving. I couldn’t want better things for any other new rapper/artist in his field. There is something so authentic and honest about him. Thanks for sharing this.

Drake is definitly another rapper with a story behind him. Wait, cross out another, he is one of the few that come out with his fears and his struggles and make them meaningful in his songs.
Drake and Eminem have this way of putting their feelings into their songs in a way that a handful of people catch it and realize that everything is based off of their life. Eminem is my boy right there. I grew up to him. With Drake as a new touching rapper, I really wanna see how far he goes with his feelings for music (:
My girlfriend was in the documentary. She was the one crying after getting her album signed. She was the one that went “I love him. This is something I’d tell my kids about” :) haha, She truly is a Drake fan. She updates me and tells me things about him I don’t think most of his fans know. She understands his pain and appriciates his music more than anyone on the street who bops their head to it.
Drake is different. And I support him. He determination in him and you can see it.

Just started watching this documentary but seeing the reactions/hype/buzz really puts things into perspective. Drake isn’t gonna be the rapper every “hip hopper/backpacker/retro guy or girl wants him to be. If he remains consistent he’ll be bigger than that box – he has to! A SFG or Comeback Season may never return cuz of the demands of appeasing to all his fanbase, which means more Find Your Loves & Best I Ever Hads. Its like BEP’s shifting from making Joints & Jams to Meet Me Halfway; how big they’ve become their sound will change from that which hip hop guys used to love. Can’t hate on him for that cuz at least he dropped two sick mixtapes beforehand.

Really enjoyed this, Drake’s album is a great debut. It resonates with me, not many rappers stories do these days.
