Frank Ocean speaks to Radio 1′s Zane Lowe [Audio]

Odd Future crooner and one of the year’s breakthrough artists Frank Ocean, who played his first ever UK concert to a sold-out and adoring London crowd at XOYO on Friday, caught up with Radio 1′s Zane Lowe to discuss all manner of things including working on Watch the Throne, his admiration for Kanye West, the acclaimed nostalgia, Ultra, working on the follow-up to that project and not being pigeon-holed as an R&B artist.

Having been at the show on Friday I can personally co-sign what Zane says about the crowd – the atmosphere was electric and people (myself included) were singing along to every word (of the stuff we’d already heard).
