The good people at ThisisRnB recently had the opportunity to sit down with Ginuwine as he gears up to release his 7th studio album, Elgin; scheduled to be released on February 15th.

On this 8-minute interview, Ginuwine sheds more light on a wide array of topics from working with Grammy award winning songwriter and producer Bryan-Michael Cox, executive producer of Elgin, to how his favourite song on the Elgin album was inspired by Omarion’s ‘Icebox.’

He also speaks on his favourite memories of Aaliyah and writing her 2002 posthumous hit single, ‘Miss You,’ way back in 1998 to collaborating with the late Static Major and so much more. Watch the insightful dialogue below.

I like Ginuwine a lot, I can’t wait to hear the new album because the music I’ve heard so far from Elgin sound really good and I don’t know about you but I sincerely hope that this TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank) project sees the light of day. That would be something right?

You can pre-order Ginuwine’s forthcoming album Elgin on Amazon now.
