Introduced onto the audience by Pharrell Williams, Captivating performer Janelle Monae joined the likes of Erykah Badu, Gym Class Heroes and more as part of the line-up at the eighth annual Afro Punk Festival this weekend.
Owning the stage full with her impressive live band, watch below as Monae digs into her back catalogue to perform her track “Sincerely, Jane” – taken from her 2007 debut effort Metropolis: Suite I (The Chase), also taking on a classic as the Grammy award nominated talent performed her own version of Jackson 5‘s “I Want You Back.”
