Everybody loves an “oldie but goodie.”
For the premiere of ThisisRnB TV‘s Acoustic Stoop series, L.A. artist Jared Lee performs his classic track “Hold You Down.” The “acoustic stoop” performance is exactly as it sounds: Lee, accompanied by a guitarist, sits on a stoop and belts out the 2010 hit with no mics and no special lighting — just them and a camera.
I have to say that I think the concept is refreshing. It’s a great way to showcase an artist’s ability to sing without all the extra “stuff,” and Lee has an incredible voice.
“Hold You Down” is featured on his six-track EP Falling Through Holes.
