Yesterday as scheduled the first annual Made In America Festival curated by Jigga Jay-Z kicked off with the likes of D’Angelo, Janelle Monae, Dirty Projectors, Ricky Rozay‘s Rap empire Maybach Music Group and of course Hovito himself blessing the stage.
Amongst many of the inaugural day’s surprise performances (which included member’s of Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music family joining Mr. Carter on stage) was that of the elusive grand lyricist Jay Electronica. To the delight of many of those in attendance Jay ElecHannukah commanded the stage in true Hip Hop fashion to the sounds of underground classics “Exhibit A” and “Exhibit C,” “The Announcement” and “Eternal Sunshine.”
During his set the Roc Nation signed emcee announced that the forthcoming radio single from his EVER SO LONG AWAITED debut solo album Act II: Patents Of Nobility will feature Chris Brown [Note: Not quite sure how I feel about this being that the last time Breezy worked with another higher echelon emcee its didn't come out too great]. Below are visuals of Jay Elec’s set.
