Yesterday Philadelphia’s Fairmont Park played host to the first annual Made In America festival with performances on the first day from stellar line up D’Angelo, the Maybach Music Group, Janelle Monaé and many more.
But the loudest response was reserved for the man responsible for the Budweiser sponsored festival, rapper, entrepreneur, Roc Nation boss Jay Z who delivered an hour long headline set backed by a full band. Not only did he bring out Philly representatives Freeway, Young Chris & Neef, no appearance from Beanie Sigel who is unfortunately currently incarcerated, he also had an interlude provided by non other than the POTUS Barack Obama, who could top that? (Well maybe the G.O.O.D Music team who he brought out right after his set)
