Karriem Riggins – “Summer Madness” | Music Video

Henry Yanney November 29, 2012 Hip Hop, Jazz, Music Videos Comments

Distinguished drummer, producer and DJ Karriem Riggins provides the visuals to his astounding Jazz and Hip Hop cut “Summer Madness.” Directed by Donovan Glover and Gerard Victor, the video is shot from a first person perspective which follows the routine of Detroit’s multi talented musician prior to a live show.

Capturing the essence of his performances in the five-minute video – from the live jamming sessions to even his day to day activities prior to it (showers, clothes choice and dining a beauty) – the immaculate track is aided wonderfully by the engaging visuals, which you can watch below.

“Summer Madness” is taken from Riggins’ recent album Alone Together, which is out now via Stones Throw Records.
