Joey BadA$$, the name on a lot of tastemakers lips, had a productive time last week. After making an appearance with Mac Miller at Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan on Thursday, but not before dropping “World Domination” (which subsequently claimed blog domination) last Friday, the 17-year-old Brooklyn-bred phenom also let loose another quintessentially gloomy freestyle, entitled “BK”, just to up the ante even more for his forthcoming 1999 EP.
The Pro.Era member, unlike most of us, didn’t take the weekend off, instead performing at The Knitting Factory in his hometown, where he ran through tracks like “Survival Tactics“; the hits that have helped propel Joey onto the platform he finds himself today.
