Kendrick Lamar freestyles + talks ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. city’ on Invasion Radio [Video]

With a vicious freestyle for NYC’s Invasion Radio, Kendrick Lamar continues to build the buzz for his upcoming album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, which drops October 22nd through Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope Records.

“We are all good kids in a bad city… we weren’t put on this Earth with hate in our hearts,” the West Coast lyricist comments on the album title, and without giving too much detail said he couldn’t give away the meaning of the stylized spelling of m.A.A.d. in his album title, but elaborated that his album would explain everything.

Intriguingly enough, Kendrick mentioned that he had envisioned using the picture on the cover of his album for years. Despite his natural humility and openness, the pride with which he created his album is quite apparent. Watch him talk about the project and kick a freestyle below.
