Good kid Kendrick Lamar‘s album might not be made for daytime radio but he’d be damned if that stopped him bringing his music to fans in the UK.
Yesterday night (November 12th), with mixer and DJ Ali in tow, the hooded rapper demolished it at 1xtra Live in Brixton, giving a show-stopping performance of his album’s lead single “Swimming Pools (Drank)“, which you can watch below. Kendrick let the crowd help him out with the track, eventually rapping acapella as they took up the “Drank” part of the track and although Tulisa’s performance still remains the Most Shared of the 1xtra Live performances (which also featured Trey Songz, Angel and Daley) from what I hear that’s not necessarily for the right reasons.
