Emerging UK singer/songwriter L Marshall, best known for writing and featuring on North London rapper Wretch 32‘s breakthrough single “Traktor,” has been heavily tipped as one-to-watch in 2012 having reportedly signed a big-money major label deal with Mercury at the tail end of last year.

Having also penned Loick Essien‘s smash hit single “How We Roll,” originally intended for Tanya Lacey, along with songs for the likes of JLS, Kelis and Mz Bratt among others, also L talks songwriting and how some of these collaborations came about – watch below.
Whilst waiting on his forthcoming debut album, L Marshall dropped his debut mixtape The Wait exclusively with us for free download in December – cop it here.
