Christina Aguilera covers “At Last” at Etta James’ funeral in L.A [Video]

Soul legend Etta James recently passed away due to complications caused by leukemia. Since then, the world at large have been rising up to pay tribute, with the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and Adele paying homage to the late great Blues and Soul singer.

Amongst the attendees at Etta James’ funeral yesterday, The Roots band and the legendary Stevie Wonder performed musical tributes to Etta, so did Christina Aguilera who sang a cover of “At Last”.

“I have to first of all say what an amazing honor it is for me to have been welcomed here today, invited here, to pay tribute to the great Ms. Etta James… I went around the world throughout all my career saying that Ms. Etta James was my favorite singer in the whole wide world.” said an emotional Miss Aguilera.
