Lloyd reflects on musical consistency & his King Of Hearts collaborations @106andpark [Video]

“Consistency. I think in order to be king you have to be very versatile,” Lloyd says on his formula for the perfect love song, drawing on the regal allusions and grand approach of his new album title. The R&B singer swung by the 106 & Park studios this week to talk about his musical consistency, taking the time to craft his new album King Of Hearts with Polow Da Don over the course of two years, and to talk the audience through his song “Dedication to My Ex (Miss That)” narrated by Lil Wayne and featuring Andre 3000, and working with Patti Labelle on “Lay It Down.”
