Rapper, artist, producer, blogger and activist Lupe Fiasco sat down with CBS for their segment called #Influencer, where they speak to people who are leading the trends. Here, Lupe speaks about the power of twitter and the loyalty of his fans (who assembled outside the Atlantic Records HQ back in October last year to protest the delayed release of his long awaited current album Lasers), his political views and the importance of being socially responsible – watch below.
“In my fight against terrorism, to me the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America.. For me, its like I’m trying to fight the terrorism that’s actually causing the other forms of terrorism.. the root cause of terrorism is the stuff that the US government allows to happen.”
