Frank Ocean debuts at No. 2 on UK chart, Lianne La Havas at 4 | Music News

Just as everyone anticipated, Odd Future crooner Frank Ocean‘s debut LP channel ORANGE debuts high on the charts, breaking in at No. 2 on the Top 40 UK Albums list.

ORANGE checks in just a shade below singer/songwriter Newton Faulkner‘s Write It On Your Skin, which debuted at the apex, and bumped Maroon 5‘s Overexposed down to No. 3.

Also making her debut on the sales chart this week is soul singer Lianne La Havas, whose Is Your Love Big Enough? LP entered high at No. 4.

Dropping this week are Chris Brown‘s Fortune, which leaves the top spot and lands at No. 5; Ed Sheeran‘s + which dropped two spots to No. 6; and Adele‘s absolute monster of an album 21, which fell from No. 9 to No. 11. This is only the second time in 77 weeks on the chart that the multi-platinum selling 21 has been outside of the Top 10.
