It’s been a while since we’ve heard any music news on Ciara. Almost two years since releasing her fourth album Basic Instinct, the R&B singer is set on unleashing some new music.
Putting an end to the mystery, the singer (who has seen a label change from Jive Records to Epic Records) sat down with MTV whilst promoting Adam Sandler‘s new film That’s My Boy — in which she makes a cameo appearance — with the rest of the cast.
“I’m finishing up my album called One Woman Army and you guys will be in for a treat very soon,” she said. “My new single ‘Sweat’ will be coming as well.”
The singer also announced that she is once again working with L.A Reid, who signed her to her first deal in 2003.
Release dates for the new album and single have not yet been announced.
