Not long after both debuting and giving her ethereal Tinie Tempah-assisted (or ruined, you decide) “Hanging On” single the visual treatment, Brit-born songstress Ellie Goulding has announced a new album. Entitled Halcyon, the LP will come as Goulding’s sophomore release, succeeding her 2010 debut, Lights, which spawned hits such as “Under the Sheets,” “Starry Eyed” and “Guns and Horses.”
Halycon will be co-produced by the singer herself, with the assistance of Jim Elliot, who has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Ladyhawke. An exact release date is yet to be announced, but the album is expected to arrive sometime on October.
