Good news has risen for Missy Elliott fans. With Timbaland teasing a comeback from the rapper over the last couple months, the femcee’s comeback is now confirmed as Elliott is set to release two brand new tracks next week ahead of the release of her upcoming album, Block Party.
The news stems from the artist’s official website, which reveals the track titles — “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat” — and the official release date. The new material follows Elliott’s Labor Day performance alongside Timbaland and Magoo last weekend at Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel.
The new tracks are set to be premiered September 9th at 6pm EDT.
