According to news sources local10.com in Miami and NBCNews6, Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross reportedly crashed his Rolls Royce into a building on Las Olas Boulevard after gunshots rang out from a passing vehicle.
According to eye-witness reports, around 5 AM, Ross was driving a silver 2011 Rolls Royce eastbound on the boulevard when the shooting occurred. Rick attempted to drive away but crashed into a building at 311 Southeast 15th Avenue. Authorities reported that Ross did not want his name or the name of the passenger ( Shateria L. Moragne-el) revealed, fearing for their safety according to Fort Lauderdale Police spokeswoman Det. DeAnna Garcia.
No suspects have been identified, however, Rick Ross has been involved in a high profile “beef” with the Gangster Disciples, whose sets have released multiple video death threats targeting the music mogul.
Witnesses at the crime scene reportedly heard more than 20 shots fired. Neither Ross nor his passenger reported any injuries.
