Yesterday, R&B’s undisputed Queen Beyoncé performed her heartwarming ballad ”I Was Here,” taken from here fourth solo album, 4, in front a room full of esteemed guests at the United Nations General Assembly hall in New York. The footage of the performance, which took place on a high rise stage backed by a specially created screen, will be released in conjuction with World Humanitarian Day on August 19th.

The footage, directed by Ridley Scott, will also double up as the official music video for “I Was Here”. Until then, you can check out the pictures of Beyoncé’s performance-come-video shoot below.
