The concept of a joint album between Alabama native Yelawolf and Mississipi product Big K.R.I.T. has been in talks for some time now, but earlier today, the Shady Records-signed half confirmed that a collaborative release, entitled Country Cousins, is in the works. He also announced that West Coast hip-hop stalwart DJ Skee will host the project.
Took us meeting in Denmark to solidify our album, but Country Cuzins is assured. Myself and @BIGKRIT presented by @djskee in progress!

Any whiff of a release date is being kept a secret for now, but it is good to know that the album is on its way, at least. To pass time time, throw on K.R.I.T.’s recently-released debut album, Live From The Underground, or bump Yela’s new Heart Of Dixie mixtape, which surfaced last week.
