With it being six months into the 2012, it would be safe to say its been 2 Chainz‘ year so far. From Codeine Cowboy (A 2 Chainz Collective) to T.R.U. REALigion and having blacked out on a ton of collaborations the Duffle bag boy has a massed a huge following that will continue to grow as the year goes on. Now re-signed to Def Jam (first signed to the label under the name Titi Boy with Playaz Circle) the ATLien is now prepping his solo major label debut LP Based on a T.R.U. Story set for release on August 14th.
To get things started for his forthcoming body of work, Titi 2 Necklace released the album’s premier single “No Lie” featuring Drake, which has since increased awareness of the emcee’s LP. Yesterday, 2 Chainz gave the good folks over at BET’s 106 & Park the green light to debut ‘No Lie’s' long awaited video teaser, set for release sometime over the coming week.
