MURS and 9th Wonder are set to release their fifth and final collaborative album The Final Adventure on November 13th, and to prepare us for what’s likely to be another wholesome slice of hip hop goodness they’ve released the video for their second single “Funeral For a Killer.”
The black-and-white clip takes MURS out to the desert, where he raps in a Mexican Day of the Dead mask about death and sin and whatever comes next. It’s spooky and stylish AT THE SAME DAMN TIME. As a killer descends into the ground and meets the fires of Hell, ghoulish faces flicker above him and MURS asks one simple question: can you mourn a murderer?
