Ab-Soul f/ Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q x Jay Rock – ‘Black Lip Bastard’ (Black Hippy Remix) | Music Video

Andy Bustard August 10, 2012 Music Videos Comments

The Black Hippy crew delve into their dark side in the video for their “Black Lip Bastard” remix, taken from Ab-Soul‘s Control System album. In the Rocksmith-presented and The ICU-directed clip, Kendrick Lamar, Solo, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock deliver their equally-as-menacing verses in densely-lit parts of their Californian stomping grounds, while scenes of the typical harshness of the street life are littered throughout, providing more visual prowess to the terrifying vibe.

If you don’t believe TDE are the reincarnation of West Coast rap, and the crew to carry the scene into the future, you better convert quick. Ab-Soul’s Control System is out now.
