Bayou – “Cherry Cola” | Music Video

Michell C. Clark November 24, 2012 Music, Music Videos, Soul/R&B/Alt Comments

Not much is known about the London-based singer and producer Bayou beyond what listeners can derive from his sensual, smooth R&B releases such as “Cherry Cola.” Treating his audience to subtle, brooding production and luscious harmonies, Bayou opts to use abstract, romantic footage found in Japan to add vision to his slow jam hit.

The video concludes with an unexpected, startling conclusion that leaves listeners with more questions than answers. It’s unclear whether this rising talent will choose to reveal more of himself or his music in the near future, but this memorable introduction will certainly suffice for the time being. Watch “Cherry Cola” below.
