Rapper/producer Cynikal releases the visuals to his latest track “Won’t Let You Down,” featuring Cynthia Erivo from the Sister Act musical.
Already receiving support from London’s biggest radio stations BBC 1Xtra and BBC Radio 1, “Won’t Let You Down” — taken from Cynikal’s current mixtape Breakfast – is a demonstration of deep-rooted, storytelling hip-hop cleverly reflected through an almost sombre yet thought-provoking video.
Directed by Chas Appeti and Simon Dewey, the video sees Cynikal in his most reflective state within the midst of London’s usual hustle and bustle, thanking his loved ones for support. Through stripped down visuals with close-ups of the rap star and an emotive solo performance from Erivo, “Won’t Let You Down” definitely achieves its objectives to inspire and move listeners.
