DJ Yoda frees the visuals for “Rudies” from his long awaited Chop Suey LP, which was released on November 5 – six years after his The Amazing Adventures of DJ Yoda debut.
The music video follows the night crawling journey of a London bus as the top deck is taken over by boisterous Londoners. Afrikan Boy drops some Nigerian-twanged bars joining Yoda for the beer and champagne filled festivities while vocals from Soom T complement the percussion-themed instrumental.
London born DJ and producer, Yoda serves up a baseline infused with minimal reggae and grime accents by the tail end of “Rudies,” which follows the upbeat Man Like Me-featuring single, “Idiot.” Check out “Rudies” below.
