E-40 & Too $hort f/ Wiz Khalifa – “Say I” | Music Video

Bay Area icons E-40 and Too $hort continue their relentless work ethic (play ethic?) by dropping another visual from their double album History: Function Music & Mob Music, this time for their Wiz Khalifa collaboration “Say I“.

Whilst it’s not the most stylishly-shot clip you’ll ever see, the Ben Tree-directed video, set in a dingy, industrial-style setting, has a late ’90s vibe to it which matches Droop-E’s bouncy beat. The two veterans blaze their skulls in an industrial setting with the help of liquor and the herb, whilst Wiz Khalifa, himself no stranger to that lifestyle, drops by for a smoke and a surprisingly energetic verse, returning the help Too $hort gave him for “On My Level“.

The track itself should keep you watching to the end, when the trio revert back to speaking (Earl Stevens to Wiz: “I’m high as fuck too bruh”) and two of the music video girls share a beautiful moment. Watch below:
