Esperanza Spalding ft. Algebra Blessett – “Black Gold” | Music Video

Verse February 2, 2012 Music Videos No Comments

We brought you the audio earlier today, now here is the official video for the empowering first single from Grammy award winning Jazz singer and multi-instrumentalist Esperanza Spalding‘s forthcoming fourth solo studio album Radio Music Society.
Featuring additional vocals from singer Algebra, the video for “Black Gold” delivers an uplifting and powerful message of recognizing self worth. Utilizing a storyline of a father and his endeavor to show his children that there is more to africa than what they bother teaching in schools as well as a beautiful street performance from the two featured artist. Love this.

Radio Music Society is set to be released on March 20th.
