Not only has The Game instituted a #SundayService weekly series and #Bible Study releases on Tuesdays, he’s also dropping off new music on Saturdays for an apparently year-long series entitled #The Offering.
However shameless this extrapolation of ‘Ye and co’s GOOD Fridays idea appears to be, at least it means Game is preparing for his forthcoming Jesus Piece album (released December 11th) by dropping off decent music. Jayceon’s first offering to fans sees him drop black-and-white visuals for a freestyle shot in snowy New York, essentially a diss record aimed at New Yorker Shyne, who’s irked the L.A. rapper with his comments relating to Kendrick Lamar‘s album and his subsequent attempt to pour water on Game’s fiery response.
Game, never above getting his hands dirty, seems to have decided he’d rather play family with Kendrick. Here he’s a defensive-cum-aggressive brother to K Dot, and whilst Kendrick doesn’t need someone to fight his battles for him, when they’re fought this well he probably can’t complain.
