The leaders of the new west aka the collective Black Hippy comprised of solo artists Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, ScHoolBoy Q and Ab-Soul have been a mainstay in the SoulCulture playlist for a while now and the forthcoming solo album Follow Me Home from the California crew’s Jay Rock is set to be on loop over here for the next few weeks.
The Watts raised rapper brings the whole crew through on “Say Wassup” for some intricate wordplay and very creative guerilla style visuals. Watch the video below.
