After performing at the 2012 splash! Festival in Germany this summer, Joey Bada$$ and splash! put together this visual for “Pantie Raid” from live footage taken on the night.
The stylishly-shot clip shows Joey delivering the track to an entranced German audience, and instantly illustrates the Brooklyn’s popularity in Europe, where he’s winning new converts by the day with a combination of style, bars and bar selection. The Pro Era rapper gets fans bouncing in unison (except for the girl at 1.30) as he performs some of his most bedroom-oriented rhymes over Stuyvesant’s slow, hypnotic beat, and reminds us that his Rejex tape, on which this track appeared, was more than just a collection of left-overs from 1999.
