Dynamic Chicago collective Kids These Days release the video for “Doo Wah,” their second video from their mixtape, Traphouse Rock.

This versatile group who delve into many different genres, including rock, hip-hop, and jazz drop one of their more mellow, bluesy efforts, dedicated to encouraging those with aspirations to not let the difficulties of life force them to lay their dreams by the wayside. Emcee Vic Mensa shows off his versatility, delivering heartfelt rhymes and a singsong chorus with ease.

The video takes a page out of The Borrowers, featuring miniature versions of the entire band making their way through a child’s room to perform in front of a group of dolls, stuffed animals, and toy soldiers, on a stage made primarily of playing cards. Buzz Lightyear himself even makes an appearance. Watch for yourself below.
