Brooklyn natives Maffew Ragazino and Skyzoo may have tasted success a short while before this current New York rap renaissance (see: A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson and plenty more) took effect, but that doesn’t make them any less relevant. Connecting for their very first collaboration, the pair deliver “BK Accent”, an uber-lyrical, hometown-repping ladies anthem that comes free with its accompanying visuals; some that simply amplify their love for fine females and the Brooklyn borough.
Both Ragazino and ‘Zoo have mixtapes and albums on the way. Maffew will put out the Never Ran Never Will mixtape this Summer, followed by his Black Gold LP (which will feature this track) in the Autumn, while the latter is readying the release of both the Theo vs. JJ: Dreams vs. Reality free tape – slated for a release this Summer, too – and his highly aniticipated sophomore album, A Dream Deferred.
