Novel f/ Justin Kahler – “Self Medicating” | Music Video

Writer, singer and producer Novel drops off the visuals to his track “Self Medicating” featuring Justin Kahler, taken from his recently released EP Under Water, Overwhelmed. Exploring his talent further, Novel tries his hand at directing the new video himself as we get a glimpse into his daily life.

The diary style video follows both Novel and Kahler spending time in the studio, going out to eat and hitting up the liquor store. However, there is a disconnect between the light video and the sombre and gloomy track where Novel speaks of self medicating his heartbreak and pain, none of which are really represented in the video visually.
