Get Familiar alum Nick Brewer is set to follow up his well received independent mixtapes Alone With My Thoughts 1&2 with a new project titled Flat 10 in 2013 and ahead of that he gives us the green light to share the first track from the project titled “Ashamed”.
The 23 year old Essex hailing rapper links up with once again with longterm collaborators, the fast rising production collective The Confect for this emotive audio narrative oozing honestly and vulnerabilty in the midst of a decaying and rocky relationship played out over The Confect’s haunting samples and soul thumping production. Coupled with the hazy collage of visuals which almost seem like the remains of a tear-drenched compilation of memories of a love lost.
