Hip-hop powerhouse Def Jam may have recruited high profile names like 2 Chainz, Asher Roth and Gunplay to its roster in recent times, but one of Cleveland, Ohio’s newest rap products Ray Jr. has been one of label executive No I.D.‘s talent-scouted signings of the year.

In preparation for the release of his appropriately-titled mixtape, Welcome To Def Jam, the burgeoning emcee connects with fellow Cleveland native Young Shank for the video to “Rock Bottom” – a raucous, trap-style number bolstered by all the visual menace and attitude you can squeeze into a three-and-a-half minute clip.

Ray Jr.’s official introduction, Welcome to Def Jam, will come September 12th. For now, enjoy the visuals below.
