Softly spoken Liverpudlian soul singer Rebecca Ferguson gives a typically demure but vocally emotive performance of rousing ballad “Shoulder To Shoulder,” backed by a live band in the studio.
“I wanted to make the listener think about love and relationships,” the former X Factor UK finalist (Series 7) says of the song. “So many times we lose track of what’s important in love, and I’ve written about the classic dysfunctional relationship where you have two people in love, they just don’t know HOW to love. It’s very honest.”
As featured on Ferguson’s debut album Heaven, which entered the UK charts at No. 3 and the US Billboard chart at No. 23, the single “Shoulder To Shoulder” is set for UK release on December 16th.
