Tarrus Riley – ‘Dream Woman’ | Music Video

Marvin Sparks July 9, 2012 Music Videos, Reggae Comments

Chimney Records‘ acoustic guitar-led EP Chill Spot Riddim produces its second single in recent weeks, following Christopher Martin‘s “Chill Spot.”

Tarrus Riley ventures into the dancehall with a hint of the R&B side of life on his latest single, “Dream Woman.” Although he’s best known for a live instrument-based roots reggae sound, tapping into the dancehall world is frequent for the singer recently named one of The Guardian‘s eight reggae acts you need to know about.

Much like the title suggests, “Dream Woman” features the Rastafarian singer’s-singer speaking of his impatient quest for “Mrs. Right” as he enviously watches other loved-up couples. A relatable tale for the singletons and boys that don’t get no girls out chea!
