So I think it’s pretty safe to say The Weeknd has the internet on lock right now. On Monday he gave us snippets of three new tracks to be featured on his Trilogy LP, with full versions being delivered daily since, and today brings us a preview for the long-awaited visuals to his Drake assisted song, “The Zone.”
The 30-second clip shows us the artistic imagery that we’ve come to expect with The Weeknd, but shows off a slightly brighter side to his work; although in the clip he’s shrouded in darkness – as per usual – with film projected behind him, we also get to see a blonde model in a heavy lit, bright white studio, with colourful balloons behind her to offset his usual, darker imagery.
