Last year, Los Angeles based Stephen Bruner, better known as Thundercat, put out one of the most impressive debuts in the form of The Golden Age of Apocalypse. Despite not being new to music as he plays bass for artists like Erykah Badu or Suicidal Tendencies, this was many people’s first real introduction to Thundercat.
The project, which was created alongside producer Flying Lotus was a great and eclectic album with influence from artists like George Benson, and a more so vintage vibe. From that release, Thundercat is putting out his new visuals for the track “Walkin.”
The video, features an a-list roster of artists: Miguel, J*DaVeY, Flying Lotus and etc. The visuals which were directed Holly and Kelly Port, show Thundercat walking through his very interesting neighborhood with his girlfriend. This is personally, one of my favorite songs on the album great to see this as one of his singles.
