Vinny Cha$e dropped his new mixtape Golden Army yesterday and here’s the video for one of the project’s stand-out tracks, the Kid Art-featuring “Biggie & Jordans.”
The visual, directed by Kid Art himself, takes us on a ride through New York’s party scene with Vinny and his Cheers Club crew, and it’s a perfect introduction to the Harlem rapper’s swag-heavy aesthetic. As heavy drums pound away and synths bleep at us, the self-appointed Swag God welcomes us to every aspect of the NYC night-life: from blunted night-club foyers to red-lit dice games; modern art galleries to women with a bad streak.
It’s completely excessive (check out the sweeping aerial shots), and probably nothing new, but it’s done with such style that you’ll instantly want to go out and emulate his ostentatious night, and if nothing else, you get to watch some Biggie clips and a pointless shoplifting scene.
