It’s been barely a fortnight since XXL Freshmen 2011 alumni YG and Meek Mill presented their swagger-soaked collaboration “I’m a Thug”, and today the pair get in front of the camera for the official music video; no gloats held.
Director Alex Nazari captures everything you’d expect in the clip below, as the rappers’ tell their ‘hood tales over in YG’s Californian turf. According to 57thAve, the video shoot ended with a shooting, but thankfully no one was hurt.
“I’m a Thug” is produced by DJ Mustard (best known for crafting Tyga‘s “Rack City” smash) and will feature on YG’s upcoming tape, 400 Hunnid Degreez, set to drop on March 26th. Hit YG’s Facebook page with a like to download the song.
