Young Jeezy releases the video for “El Jefe” from his mixtape Its Tha World (Es El Mundo).
“El Jefe” (the chief) is representative of the life Jeezy lives, or at least the life depicted in the video. In the Motion Family-directed clip, Jeezy plays the role of a wealthy crime boss living a life of luxury and defending his assets.
The track, produced by Lil Lody, mixes the traditional southern feel of a Jeezy track with a bit of Latin flavor. Though the video is just a shade under four minutes, it has all the feel of a dramatic action film packed into it. Download It’s Tha World (Es El Mundo) in its entirety here.
