During his headlining gig at L.A.’s R&B Live Hollywood earlier this month, Musiq Soulchild brought fellow crooners Carl Thomas and Tank onstage for an impromptu rendition of “B.U.D.D.Y.” from Musiq’s 2007 album Luvanmusiq.
The golden-throated trio (and comedian Red Grant and some other random folks) shared the stage for probably the first time ever, belting out a one-of-a-kind take on the hit single and finishing the performance off with a one-upsmanship contest as each singer tried to outdo the others with a bit of ad-libbing.
