Hip-Hop legend Nas was today announced as headlining the 1Xtra Stage at the mammoth Radio 1 Hackney Weekender which takes place in London next month. The festival takes place on Hackney Marshes over the weekend of 23rd and 24th June, and will see some of pop’s biggest names descend on East London for one of the most star-studded music events of recent years.

The veteran Queensbridge rapper is set to appear on Sunday 24th June, joining a lineup that already includes Jay-Z, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Ed Sheeran, Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia to name but a handful. With Hov in town and confirmed as headlining on the Saturday, what are the odds of him making a special appearance alongside Nasty Nas and his full live band on Sunday night?
