Nas discusses “Daughters,” parenthood + more with Cosmic Kev [Video]

With his new album, Life Is Good, now almost a fortnight old, and having achieved both critical and commercial success in that time, Nas has reaffirmed himself as one of the most relevant names in hip-hop right now. Sitting down with Cosmic Kev of Philadelphia’s Power99 for his latest press appearance, Mr. Jones gave an interview largely relating to one of his LP’s standout cuts, “Daughters,” and spoke on parenthood.

Preaching the truth, the Queensbridge emcee stated that his aforementioned track is factual to his experiences, not inspired by other stories, shared his thoughts on today’s youth culture of aspiring to be come across as celebrities online, particularly on social networks, and spoke on the differences between father-son and father-daughter relations.
