On the eve of her debut album’s release date, sultry singer Elle Varner gives us all an idea of what to expect from Perfectly Imperfect by way of a full album stream presented via AOL.
Varner wrote all the songs on the project and says that listeners will really get an idea of who she is and what she represents.
“I represent, obviously, young women, but also the idea that we should all love and accept each other as ourselves,” she told BMI.com about the project. “I’ve accepted where my music is flawed. There are parts on the album where the note was flat or there was a mistake, but it was so amazing—the emotion was there—so we kept it. That’s my message and my mission: perfectly imperfect.”
